Drugstore dupe of the Naked 3 palette!♡

Recently I have become super impressed, with this new brand called 'Makeup Revolution' that came to my local superdrug. Not only are their products amazingly cheap but their quality is better than I expected. I'm hoping to buy more products from this brand in the future and reviewing them, but for today I will be talking about their eyeshadow 'Redemption' palette called Iconic 3. Although I don't own the Naked 3 palette, it has come to my attention that the colours are very similar and the brand in general comes out with products that are clear dupes, packaging wise as well as quality wise.

What I was really positively surprised by was the pigmentation of these colours, even though I went over the swatches twice just so you can see it better on the picture, you do not need a lot of the product because it shows easily on the eye lid. The palette has a mixture of matte as well as shiny shades, ranging from a cream colour, to pinks, soft browns and purple shades. This palette is defo something I would use for going out somewhere but a natural look can also be achieved.

To summarise:

-You can buy this palette in superdrug
-It is only £4
-Very similar to Naked 3 palette
-Amazing pigmentation and quality
-Comes with a double sided brush
-I would definitely recommend it

My 2015 resolutions!♡

Heeeeeeey!
First of all, happy new year everyone! I hope this year
brings you happiness and joy and I hope you all reach
your goals or stick to your resolutions
and I hope you always have a smile on your face!

I was a bit sceptical about writing this post because I don't always stick to my new years resolutions but I figured that posting it on my blog may give me a motivation boost! I set myself resolutions and goals each year however they don't always quite go to plan...for example I have not done exercise at least 3 times a week in 2014 and I have not drank 2 bottles of water daily. BUT this year I am trying my hardest to change myself for the better. So, yeah maybe it is the 9th day of the new year and I haven't stuck to any of my resolutions YET but it's never too late to start right?!

Here are my resolutions/goals:

1. Be healthier
I'm 99% sure pretty much every person has this as their resolutions and I'm not going to lie, this is a recurring one for me too. Now by 'healthy' I don't mean literally cut out every thing that may be bad for me out of my diet (I'm not giving up on Taco Bell just yet) but it means I want to eat healthier foods plus keep ones I already eat so I'm going to attempt eating my 5 a day and drinking a lot more water!

2. Do more exercise
Another typical resolution, am I right? I have to say I'm quite motivated to do a lot more exercise this year and to get to the body weight as well as image as I want! Fingers crossed I stick to this.

3. Be happier; no more negativity!
This just says it all really. I just want to be positive and stop thinking negatively about anything because there's is always a light at the end of the tunnel!

4. Have more 'me' time
Seeing as this year will be so stressful with exams and everything in general, I have to remember to sometimes just relax and listen to music and do some yoga or stretching or just sit down with a good book and a cup of tea.

5. Revise more
As I mentioned earlier, I'm currently in the year of doing my GCSE's and if I want to leave with all A's I have to get my head down and concentrate on my school work.

6. Stop procrastinating
I am honestly the queen of procrastination and I definitely have to learn to stop if I want to stay more focused this year.

7. Blog Blog Blog
This year I'm going to try and keep up an active blog; post regularly and with higher quality content. Unfortunately now I cannot provide this blog with high quality because I just don't have the time and I can only take good pictures on the weekends before it gets dark which is quite difficult, seeing as I struggle with blog post topics often.

8. Confidence
Being quite a shy and quiet person, it is my goal this year to be more confident and believe in myself.

These are my main resolutions and goals, I do have a lot more but I want to mainly focus on these 8.
Now for the smaller goals for this year:

  • Get a tan (I can never tan for some reason, maybe this year will be my lucky year)
  • Eat out in restaurants more often
  • Make new friends; meet new people
  • Go to at least 3 concerts/show
  • Make a memory jar for 2015
  • Decorate my room exactly the way I want it
  • Start saving up money for driving lessons/a car
  • Random acts of kindness

My first ever LUSH products!♡

So I will finally admit that I have never used a LUSH product up until this month *holds hands up*
I've walked into the store numerous times, smelling all the bath bombs and trying out the face masks but just never seemed to get my hands on any of the products for myself (I've purchased some as gifts for friends). Until this Christmas. It's pretty much a yearly tradition that my friends and I exchange gifts and this year I have received some LUSH goodies which I was super happy with.

I got two bath bombs: dashing santa and candy mountain (I believe that's what it's called) and the bubble gum lip scrub. Overall. I'm very impressed with all of the three products.  The dashing santa bath bomb smells so so good and it made my bath water turn orange which is bright and pretty. Candy mountain is to be crumbled under the running tap and I've only used a little bit but from what I experienced, I really like it. It made my skin silky and soft and smelt so sweet (I realise I'm saying this about everything). Lastly, I have wanted to try out the lip scrub for a while and now that I've got it I'm really happy. It smells good and leaves my lips soft and exfoliated.

All in all, I'm very happy with these products and will definitely be getting some more LUSH products in 2015!

I hope you all have a good New Year, have a great time and stay safe xx

Christmas Tag ♡

IT'S CHRISTMAS TIMEEEE! After weeks of the build up and excitement, Christmas is finally here. I love this time of the year because it's filled with joy and festive spirit and it just makes you feel good. Today I decided to do the Christmas tag because it's never too late to spread some Christmas cheer, right?!

Questions:

1. What is your favourite holiday movie?

My favourite movie has to be Home Alone, me and my family watch this every year and it would not be a Christmas without Kevin!

2. What are your favourite Christmas colours?

Definitely red and gold!

3. Do you like to stay in your pj's or dress up for Christmas?

I always dress up for Christmas Eve and then Christmas day and boxing day I'm usually in my onesie.

4. If you could only buy one person a present this year, who would it be?

Myself....just kidding. This question is actually really difficult. It'd probably have to be my mum!

5. Do you open your presents on Christmas Eve or Christmas day?

Christmas Eve because I'm Polish and we celebrate Christmas a little differently :)

6. Have you ever built a ginger bread house?

No, but let me tell you a story. I once bought a gingerbread making set and I thought it'd include everything inside but turns out it only had the gingerbread inside. So, me being me I did not bother to go out and buy icing and decorations and decided to just eat the gingerbread. Therefore, the answer to this question is no but I hope you enjoyed the anecdote.

7. What do you like to do on your Christmas break?

Sleep, eat, spend time with family and friends and read books pretty much!

8. Any Christmas wishes?

None in particular, just good health and lots of happiness in the new year for my family, friends and everyone reading this!

9. Favourite Christmas smell?

A Christmas tree definitely!

10. Favourite Christmas meal or treat?

Being a food lover, I cannot pick a favourite! I enjoy pretty much every single food on the Christmas table!

I tag everyone that wants to answer these questions!
I hope your Christmas is filled with love and happiness
and if you don't celebrate it then I hope you still have a fabulous day

5 things I want to do this Winter ♡

First of all, I'd like to apologise for 1) recent lack of posts and 2) the quality of this picture.

It is that time of the year again, and I have to say I've never been this buzzed for the winter time and activities that come with it! Naturally, there are some things you'd only do especially in winter and I'm about to share my top 5! Here it goes:

1. Drink lots of hot drink - This probably sounds so mainstream and boring, but this winter I would love to try out different festive coffees or hot chocolates that places such as Starbucks and Costa have come out with. This point may or may not also be due to the cute Christmas-y cups.

2. See festive lights - Nothing makes me feel more in the Christmas spirit than cute lights and decorations.

3. Watch a ridiculous amount of Christmas films-  Recently I've acknowledged that life is way too short not to watch all the movies you can find. This is the perfect time of the year to take advantage of it.

4. Do a good deed- Whether it's something little like holding the door open for someone, or lending someone a hand, or donating to charity, there is no better feeling than giving someone a little bit of help.

5. Be happy- Yep, I just want to be happy this month, no matter happens I want to have a smile on my face and make sure everyone else does too.

November Favourites 2014 ♡

Hey guys! Hope you've all had a lovely weekend!

Today is favourites daaaaay! I really enjoying these posts because it's nice to just reflect on your month and see what you have been loving. So, November. Wow. I literally cannot believe it's already December and we'll soon be welcoming 2015, it's crazy because I feel like this year has whizzed past. I have to say though, I feel like every year is a new chapter so I'm excited to see what's in store for me next year haha! Anyway, enough of rambling, let me tell you what I've been loving this month:

From left to right, here are my November faves:

Biker Coat: H&M
Turtleneck Jumper: H&M
Ankle boots: New Look
Batiste Dry Shampoo
Essence 2in1 Eyeliner Pen
No7 Extreme Length Extend Mascara
Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water

Clothes-wise, I have probably been wearing those 3 clothing items waaay too often this month but there is no reason why not! The jacket is surprisingly warm and it goes with pretty much any outfit, the new look boots are so comfortable that you just want to walk around in them all day. A dry shampoo has been a must-have because it's great not only for second day hair but also to add volume and texture. The 2in1 eye liner by essence is a must have! It is so inexpensive and the quality is amazing.
All month I have been removing my make up with the cleansing water by Garnier which makes it so easy to even get off waterproof mascara and eyeliner..and that says a lot!

QOTD: what was your most use item this month?

Thanks for reading!

Comfy/Lazy OOTD ♡ Fall

Heeeeeey!  XO

So it's saturday and not only does that mean no school, but it also means I'm super lazy! But since I had to get out of the house (otherwise I'd literally be a couch potato all day) I thought I'd put on something comfy as well as warm.

I know what you're thinking! A crop top in fall?! Yeah, I asked myself that question too. I have this weird obsession with crop tops and until it starts properly snowing, I will carry on wearing them (joke, probably not). Today wasn't actually that cold when I left the house,  hence why my outfit is a bit less fall-y.  The thing with fall is that I love how you can wear any outfit you want and if it's cold just throw a sweater on top of it. Simple as that.

Outfit details:

Cropped top: Miss Selfridge
Leggings- Zara
Shoes- Nike Roshe Runs
Sweater- Sainsbury's

Have a good weekend!
